Top Performance Features in the 2023 Aviator
Well-Crafted Mid-Size SUV with Roomy Comfort
The 2023 Lincoln Aviator continues the tradition set 100 years ago when Lincoln built the first luxury vehicle fueled by the power of sanctuary. The 2023 Aviator delivers a roomy, comfortable, and smooth ride with several powertrain choices, intuitive interior technology, and standard safety features.
At Spitzer Lincoln DuBois near Treasure Lake, we are pleased to share the top performance features in this exceptionally-crafted mid-size SUV.
Impressive Performance with Several Powertrain Choices
The three-row SUV comes with a handful of powertrain choices. The 2023 Lincoln Aviator engine in the Standard, Reserve, and Black Label trims is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that delivers 400 horsepower.
Drivers who want upgraded Lincoln Aviator performance can choose the Grand Touring or Black Label Grand Touring trims, as they come with the same engine but paired to a plug-in hybrid electric motor. This combination delivers 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. The 13.6 kWh battery gives drivers about 20 miles of all-electric range and needs about two hours to charge with a Level 2 charger.
Both engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Aviator Grand Touring plug-in hybrid model comes standard with all-wheel drive, while the trims with conventional engines have standard rear-wheel drive.
This roomy SUV has three rows of seats but handles like a smaller vehicle. Despite having a silky-smooth ride quality, the Aviator still has accurate steering and maneuverability. Drivers who want a softer suspension can add the optional adaptive suspension.
High-Tech Safety and Interior Features
The impressive powertrain is enhanced by a plethora of driver-assistive features in the CoPilot360 1.5 suite. Standard features include Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and more. Available safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Surround View Parking Camera, Hands-Free Park Assist, Reverse Automatic Emergency Braking, and Evasive Steering Assist.
Lincoln offers the Aviator in a base trim with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 10-speaker audio system. The Lincoln Aviator interior on the base trim includes synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, and push-button start. A heated steering wheel is optional.
The Reserve trim adds genuine leather, second-row captain’s chairs, ambient LED lighting, and other luxurious features. The Grand Touring models add the hybrid powertrain to the features on the Reserve trim. Moving to the Black Label trims adds more features, making them incredibly luxurious and technologically advanced.
